Trying to conclude whole thing and help fellow SDers! Correct me if I'm wrong.
1. This Offer is just a way to save people from moving to Other carrier, calculated move not a miscalculation
2. It's very simple Offer - if you have bought any Plans before 02/01/14, you are eligible to switch to 10 GB Plan + $15 Per Line
3. This doesn't void any of your Upgrade Eligibility, if you want to upgrade or Buy a Phone, you can either do BYOD(Bring your own Device) or ATT NEXT and pay same $15 Per line or get into 2 Yr commitment and Pay $40 from that day forward...

So from what I see, this is a great way to save money until you wanna Upgrade or buy a new Phone. I would switch to this Offer for now and save $25 Per line(for all Share Plan holders) until I want to upgrade to iPhone 6 or S5 or what so ever...

From what I've read, the FAN (corporate) discounts apply to the base $100 rate. Please take all taxes out of the equation since you really have no choice in paying those. Prepaid plan has no tax and each carrier charge different amount for tax and fee. Of course need to calculate with the cost of taxes and fees.

Steps for New Customer who want to buy SIMs instead of phone for new plan...

Anyone(?)

Quote from astocker76 View Post :
My corporate discount does not apply to any part of mobile share value. I've talked to 2 different reps and they 1) denied me and 2 )gave me the discount specialist phone number. So just be aware, that at least ONE (mine) corporate discount plan views this as a discounted plan already. I've always been told that corporate discounts vary from one to another, and it is an agreement made between each company and ATT.
I say this just so people make sure they confirm for THEMSELVES that they do in fact get the "discount on the data portion" as has been confirmed here, because not everybody is getting it.
If you get latest phone every 2 years, this plan may be worse than subsidy phone per line. Do your own Math.

Quote from DrRad View Post :
Do the math:

If you're getting $100 saving every month that comes out to $2400 over 24 months (2-year contract).

Then consider the $99 price for an iPhone 5C (5 x $99 = $495).
Add in the upgrade fee of $36/line (5 x $36 = $180)

Total added cost for 5 subsidized iPhone 5c is $3075 or $615 subsidy per line - HUH? PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS MATH? YOU ARE WRONG!
The iPhone 5C at retail is $549, so if you bought them at full price you save around $66/line (excluding tax).

You have to decide if the convenience of upgrades outweighs these savings. There are some additional considerations too:
- Buying second-hand devices can save you $50-$100 more per device (ebay, swappa)
- The savings get bigger if you decide not to buy iPhones (Nexus, Moto X, etc..)
- Sometimes you can get the upgrade fee waived (all you have to do is ask)

I didn't see this mentioned here, but you can do this online. Just log into your AT&T account and you can change your plan to the new one. Takes all of 2 minutes! No need to call Customer Service or go to a nearby store.

Did anyone call and get a $100 credit to an existing AT&T account? I opened mine in Dec 2013 and was thinking of calling and getting the CS to add $100/line.

PLEASE NOTE #5: You lose the ability to purchase a subsidized phone if you switch over to this plan. You will either need to bring your own device, buy a phone at full retail price, or enroll in AT&T's NEXT plan. Please research NEXT before enrolling in it; it adds substantially to the cost of your plan and if you decide to purchase a phone over 20 months then you will pay well over its retail value. Sneaky on AT&T's part to compare to T-Mobile's unlimited price for 10GB for 4 lines its only $140 (BYOD) $20 cheaper and for 12.5GB for 5 lines its $160 $15 cheaper than AT&T so when comparing 10GB the only time AT&T is cheaper is for 3 lines (also forgetting that Tmobile has unlimited data it just drops your speed after you have exceeded your allowance so check your coverage if T-Mobile's is good in your area they have a better deal

While on chat attempting to get the $15 dollar per phone fee added correctly for each of my 5 lines, the representative gave me a link to click to verify the savings and fees. I hope it adds some clarity to members trying to compare and figure out the best way to go... http://myattrpc.com/

"Next Program" 18-26 works like this:
You get a phone at full price and pay over 26 months (let's say an iPhone for $650/26 = $25/month). You have 2 options:
1. Upgrade after 18 months. You trade-in your phone, and you don't pay for the remaining 8 months ($200 value). When you upgrade, you sign for another 26 months agreement for $25/month (if you get another iPhone) and can upgrade again after 18 months and so on.
2. Pay in full for the entire 26months and keep your device.

If you're paying $40/device right now on a contract, that's basically the same thing since the price reduced to $15/device. If you add $25+$15 = $40/device/month. So basically you save $10-20/month on your bill + get more data if you decide to upgrade your phones like on a contract every 2 years. Overall, that's a good deal for most people.

what if I don't need 10GB of data. Prices for 2GB should be like $100 for 3 lines.

Funny how in the comparison chart is is comparing against tmobile's plan unlimited data pricing but it doesn't mention that
The comparison charts states it on the bottom line, looks like for sprint and tmo.

Might have to look into this. Got 4 phones on ATT and even with my corporate discount, we're at about $196 a month.

I think now I am paying a 120+30/line for a ten people group for unlimited phone and text plus 10GB. Does it mean it will automatically change to this?

I have 5 lines on AT&T with 2 lines currently available for upgrade. I'm planning on switching to this new plan. Can anyone give me a reason why I shouldn't upgrade my 2 lines tonight before it's Feb 2?
