I recently purchased a open box samsung 60 inch 7 series tv from costco. The tv performs amazing and i think i got a good deal on it. After doing some research the remote that came with my tv is not the smart touch remote that is issued with this model and i didnt get the wireless keyboard either. un60f7050af

Yes make samsung pay instead of you. Down with samsung!

While you at it try and tell them the tv was not in the box and maybe they will give that to you too!

A few months back I bought a 65" Samsung led tv from our local Costco. I took it home and noticed that it had a blemish on the screen. I took it back and showed them the pictures, they agreed and refunded my money. I then swung around and picked up the next available box (same tv) and took it home. It was a Sunday afternoon and we had to go to a dinner party. So i dropped off the tv at home and went off to the party.

Finally at about 10pm that Sunday I got around to opening up the tv box. I proceed to pull out the mounting stand. I was already familiar with it because I had already put one together the day before. With the new stand I was having difficulty matching the holes up to the tv back. Guess what? It was the WRONG farkin' tv! EEK! What was in the box was a 60" Samsung Plasma tv that was about a year old already. I was shitting bricks. What ran through my mind was me having to tell my story to a police officer as I was led away in cuffs. Sadwalk I really really didn't want to get blamed for bring this tv box back. WTH?!?

As soon as the store opened the next day I called and asked for the store manager. He was unavailable but did call me back pretty soon. I proceeded to tell him the situation that I was in. I could tell that his voice got a little shaky. He asked me for my membership number, receipt info, item sku, and my number. He said that he would call me back after walking down to the floor to see what the mix up was. OMG

It was about 20 mins before the manager called back. He said that they had opened every tv that was on the floor. He said that they didn't even sell plasma tv's. But he said, "ok, bring it back, we'll take care of you" woot

Before I hung up I asked for the name of the night manager who would be there when I arrived. I also asked for the information to be conveyed to the night manager. I didn't want to explain everything all over again.

So about 7pm rolls around and I walk back into the store. I get to the returns desk and the lady asked me if she could help me. I tell her to get "john". She asked what it was about. I tell her that I had gotten the wrong tv in the box. She proceed to Jawdrop

LMAO

So she goes to call "john" on the phone. She flirts with him for a minute and then tells him what I was there for. He verbally gave her the "ok" over the phone because she came back over and just refunded the money no more questions asked. Faint I felt so relieved.

Then back around I go again and this time pull an employee with me so that they could open up the box in front of me. The employee told me that during the day all the managers had been pulled into a meeting to talk about what had happened with the tv.

That was the end of that. I don't know what else ever happened. Crazy though! Whee

opened a can of green beans and found 1/2 roll of lifesavers.
My daughter was eating a bowl of Lucky Charms and found a pill. General Mills said it was Ibuprofen

Now about my TV from Costco

about 9 years ago we bought a 19" lcd for about $1100. Then they changed TV stations to digital. This TV is only analog, so no locals.
When I bought it, it was under the lifetime return warranty. Should I return it?
