You realize those stories have been thoroughly debunked, right?

Even right-wing sources like Breitbart have debunked the DHS ammo nonsense-

Seriously- there's lots of REAL things the government is ACTUALLY doing to be unhappy about... why do folks need to invent fantasies to be mad about instead?

Use gunbot.net. Just let it sit in the background, and wait for the beep. Hopefully you'll have already set up accounts on the major sites to speed up checkout. .22 goes FAST!!!

I would not be surprised at all to discover the current administration meddling with the ammo market. I have no articles to reference, just simple observation:

Quote from Obama, before he crowned himself King with the help of some useful idiots:
"We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
Any rational American should be alarmed at such a statement.
Subversively militarizing domestic law enforcement is a win-win for a tyrant in the making. Use our money to buy up ammo to arm a domestic military while reducing general availability and driving up demand and cost of ammo for citizens. Perfect application of Alinski tactics: although our dear leader hates free open markets, he'll gladly use the simple laws of supply and demand against us while using money that he didn't earn. Or win-win-win: This works as a convenient stop gap while trying to force legislation to disarm all citizens.

Occasionally he shares his true intentions. Like when he said he wants to "fundamentally transform" America, I believe this is another part if his administration's agenda. Stay drunk on the Hope and Change Koolaid if you like. But when the high wears off and reality sets in, the hangover is gonna be hell.

I'm guessing that's considered a witty rebuttal in your circle?

I do use it but actually I don't have it running in the back. I just check on it once in a while and always see .08 cents and up,never Federal.

*just checked and finally saw .04 and .05 cent per round ammo. OMG

Of course I missed it. Nice to see the low prices for once. Midsouth shooters had a 525 round box for $19.38

Hope this is a sign for us that there is hope and change coming with the ammo. Big Grin

What's the average price with shipping included you guys are getting?

You're doing it wrong. You missed it because .22 sells out within minutes. If it shows up on SD, you're not necessarily too late, but you have to be FAST!

Whatever you get for ammo, can be traded for what you DO want.

What is a good price? I'm happy with Cabelas. Works out to about $30/brick shipped. Anything cheaper is a bonus.

The last load of CCI Blazer they upped it a dollar to $24.99/brick. Got a case of CCI Blazer from MidwayUSA (ten bricks) just a few weeks ago for $195 plus shipping ($25.)

PSA just advertised the same CCI Blazer for $50/brick. Did they buy it from Midway??? Either way, they can now kiss my a55! They reserved a chair right beside Cheaper Than Gold (or was that dirt?)

Cabelas can get my extra dollar for not being gougers. They could make a killing on all the .22 ammo they get,,, But they're supporting non-Obama prices. $6 shipping adds a lot to the price, but if you buy from Midway, the brick will cost you $40 instead of $30 after shipping.

This thread has turned into a political debate. How about doing that somewhere else. Slick Deals is supposed to be about finding deals on items you are interested in buying. Nothing more.
Update: Thanks to the Moderator for cleaning up this thread.
