Nice air cleaner - we bought this at $99 and it was worth every penny - much better than the Honeywell we had! Highly recommend!

I don't think so, the model numbers may be slightly different.

I think air purifiers with washable filters aren't as good. Unless I'm mistaken, it wouldn't be HEPA certified unless it has filters that you replace.

Last time I bought this, it was "HEPA-like" filter. So not HEPA.

its not HEPA certified, but I'm not convinced that really means anything

Well, HEPA filters have a requirement to filter out 99.97% of impurities that pass through it. If it's not a HEPA filter, then that means it could be less. That being said, I don't think I'd care if my non-HEPA filter was filtering "only" 99.5% of particles in the air, but some people are OCD like that. Big Grin

I did post about it in the Target B&M thread, but it was a YMMV deal, so most likely other people wouldn't have been able to replicated it.

Quite a bit! More than was ever on my honeywell prefilter. My husband has asthma and his breathing has improved slightly since we put this is our bedroom at night. It also doesnt make our room as warm as our old air cleaner did after running all day. I would definately recommend!
