User's Comment on Product(s): "35mm is DX format only, 50mm can be used with FX body. They are for different usage. 50mm on DX body would become 75mm and a perfect one for close up portrait. 35mm on DX is equivalent to 50mm normal lens, that's also very useful. I have both, and uses the 35mm more often on my D5100" - NES_Jackal

Have the D5100 crop factor, got the 50mm but returned it since it makes it around 75mm, then got the 35mm which makes it around 50mm

I heard Nikon standard and kit lenses are better than others (Canon, Sony), is that true? These are some nice prices as I have a few lenses that cost more than all those lenses combined price. Maybe pick-up a D3200 with these lenses? I'm not a first time DSLR owner.

Grab a prime (35mm 1.8g or 50mm 1.8g) or both with D3200. Kit lens is useful, but these primes are great for the money, especially for low light situations.

How is the quality of these refurbished lenses? Is it worth spending $70 more for the 50mm brand new?

It's refurbished by Nikon. So they are as good as new. You won't be able to tell the difference from a brand new one in all aspect.

Oh shitballs...has the 24-70 f/2.8 been on these deals before? That lens is amazing. I love it on my D800 and loved it on my D7000.
