What kind of info do I have to give them/the insurance? I don't want to start getting spammed with crap or them sell my info.

People are scared to say it but the fact is the guns are legal so you can shoot people who try to take them away. Back in the day there were no internet to hide behind and you would be labeled a red coat and taken as a serious problem to the community to side with people bashing in citizens heads and starting wars worldwide trying to disarm nations to turn them to slaves.

This "empire" and redcoat thingy sounds oddly familiar.

I signed up for a magazine (completely unrelated to this deal) and I get spam from the NRA multiple times a month now.

Politics aside (you can support the 2nd amendment and still not support the NRA, just like you can support Free Speech and not the ACLU), this deal is of limited utility. If you rent then there maybe a pretty good chance you do not have this coverage UNLESS you have a good renters policy, and you are one of the individuals MOST likely to benefit. The Death and Dismemberment policy both is so highly specific and is a small enough amount to be negligible which is probably why they are offering it for free. The most valuable feature could well be the theft coverage, unless you have a very good homeowners policy, firearms often require a rider and just like for jewelry, those can be expensive. If you have coverage for the firearms you currently own, then you are gaining minimal benefits for the money. If you don't have theft insurance for your firearms, and the $2500 DOES cover your needs, this can be a pretty good deal for $10 plus $25 turned into a single store only gift card. Of course I have absolutely NO idea how good their claims process is, insurance that takes your money and then plays "gotcha" to deny coverage is worse than useless as it gives you a false sense of security but causes you to drop out of the market....

There is an unsubscribe link you know. And it actually works.

And yes, I'm an NRA lifetime member. No Cabela's in Kalifornia, but this is a good deal for those who do.
