It's my first post so my apologies for bad formatting. Was browsing for a new convertible laptop and came across this deal. It's not the same as the Black Friday deals, but it is the cheapest currently available.

Currently sold-out online, but your local store may carry it. My store in Mira Mesa had one left in stock.

Originally $349.99 - $20 off until 2/15 making it $329.99. Free in-store pick-up!

Next best price @ $349.99 BestBuy.com
$399.99 Microsoftstore.com

Yes, it comes a detachable keyboard. The T100 likely won't be on sale very often since it's sold out in just about every source.

a thing with these small tablets is that there are not enough apps making these 'productive intended' tablets slightly useless...

That's exactly my point. Windows doesn't run apps like iOS and Android which are much more optimized and user-friendly to small screen touch than the full-desktop websites will ever be.

This is not just a tablet, it has FULL windows 8.1 not RT. These things were ~300 for most black friday deals but have gone up in price because the demand is so high.

The other guy linked to a review for this but heres quick rundown..

Pros:
Fast enough to do pretty much all basic productivity tasks, can even run photoshop
Has no problems streaming in HD
very light and comes with a detachable keyboard
Godlike battery life of ~10 hours
IPS screen

Cons:
Its small
the screen isn't very bright.
It can't handle as many tasks as a real computer can, but can handle them individually.

It's not a device made for everyone, but its definitely better than having a regular tablet or a netbook.

it runs windows 8.1

I used to to do my taxes using turbotax and manage my income properties with quickbooks.

it's a great little tablet, boots in about 8 seconds (seems instaneous), is surprisingly snappy with all the apps I use...and despite this guy thinking its useless, for me it helps me to be quite productive.

I also detach it from the keyboard to read books, browse thechive, etc etc.

I have the 64 gig version though as it's my one and only laptop/tablet.

I've never had a problem with its tablet sized screen running full sized OS. Do you even have one or are you just being a debbie downer for no reason?

Unlikely to drop that low until the next version gets release - the $299 64gb version grossly underestimated demand. I kind of am kicking myself for not getting one, but then, I have too many functional windows machines at the moment.

I don't think these 64gb models will drop back to around $299 until BF 2014 or when cherry trail gets released.

uhm yea in fact I've owned and sold a thinkpad twist for the same reason, even with it being 13". Not very easy to use the touchscreen

I have had the 64gb version since Christmas. I absolutely love it! It's an exciting era - We finally have a small extremely portable notebook computer / tablet that has no moving parts, a touchscreen, and a 10 hour battery life!

It can even do light gaming! I am in awe of the technology available for $350'ish.
