This is my first post, so please be kind.

Musiciansfriend [musiciansfriend.com]is having a "stupid deal of the day" sale on Tascam TH-200X pro studio headphones 2 pack for $50 . I can't find any reviews or information on it, but it seems that the going rate at other stores is $99 for one. This nets you one for $25, so grab a friend and get in on it!

Did TASCAM simply rename model number? When looking for reviews on TH-200X, I found these on Amazon, which look identical besides obvious model number:

http://www.amazon.com/TASCAM-Seri...B00GBATPIG

Specs are same too:

200x is the first generation of the MX2. It also does not cost $200 like the MSRP would suggest.

Looks like the MX2, but a musicians friend only model (GC and Music123 are the same company). Still a great price.

Have you any input on how these compare to the Th-02? More specifically are they worth the ten dollars a pair over them?
