Skydrive, Box, iCloud? No workaround required to have an application write/sync to a removable card and everywhere else. All your eggs in one basket on the primary memory it seems.
You just keep listing BS bandaids for obvious problem. 10Gb is not enough to function unless you plan on uurlhasbeenblockedy as a email and web surfing toy. Really dumb idea to every buy a laptop/work tablet with less than 128Gb SSD.

This is quite good as well for most 10.1" devices.

Surface Pro 2 here, and yes, the accompanying Type Cover 2 works fine with my Omni 10. If your definition of a non-limited device is a Tegra 3 based SRT, well, I'll not dispute with you any further. Just don't lose that baby with all your client data perpetually at risk of loss from unauthorized use or disposition.
Umm...

1. Limitations of the device were in regards to the storage space and is the same argument for all sub 64gb tablets. Processors and OS are irrelevant to the discussion. Though android offers more flexibility for sycing cloud storage to cards thanks to third party syncing apps.

2. The Type Cover 2 works with your Omni 10 how? It snaps on as an integrated cover how? It communicates with it without buying the bluetooth adapter how?

And you can argue your point all you want. It looks foolish trying to tell people their preferences are wrong. People use their devices how they want to use them. You telling them how they should use them just comes across as ignorant.

Never said this deal is bad, but some people want more out of tablet now. I want to carry my laptop less, but I want the conveniences of it, so I want more onboard storage and an integrated keyboard cover. Ultimately I'll probably just use my SRT and XPS12duo until the Surface Pro2 starts clearing out. Though, if Dropbox gets off its butt and creates a proper syncing app for win 8, I'd even be happy with the 64gb Surface 2 or 64gb RT for my needs.

Got my tablet and like it so far much better then Surface RT. What I don't see is Office installed.
Anyone else see this ? I haven't looked through he paperwork yet either if the code is included ?
What is strange is that MS Store does not list Office in the specs but on HP site it shows
" Office 2013
Includes Office Home and Student 2013, $139.99 value, for productivity right out of the box."

Did the model from MS store get neutered of Office ?

Nope it's there. Separate product key on included paperwork. Just tap the MS Office metro icon, and select that you already have a product key. You're good to go.

Anyone have any issues with their tablet having a black irresponsive screen after sitting or being charged for long period ?
Having exact same issue as what was posted here: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Wind...99177#M578
tried solution (Disabling power save in device manager for USB) but its not working. Opened a ticket with HP but not feeling optimistic about them trying to fix it

I have a brand new Omni 10 32 GB from Microsoft Store with Windows 8.1. I’ve updated all windows updates.
Issue - Screen is black when trying to turn on or wake tablet after its been either charging overnight or just sitting unused overnight.
I could feel the vibration from the tablet when pressing the capacitive windows button but the screen stayed black. I would have to hard reset (Holding the Power button at the top of the tablet causing it to reboot to fix).
I found this topic and tried the posted advice but still not fixed. This appears to be happening to multiple Omni 10

Exchange it with Microsoft Store - easy enough.
