As the title states, the newer MOGA Pro Power is on sale at Target.com for $30 off ($79.99-$30=$49.99). This is for online orders only. However, in-store pickup is available. I can confirm that in-store price is still $80, but I did in-store pickup without any problems. Qualifies for free shipping for orders over $50.

This makes the Pro Power cheaper than the "budget model" Hero Power version.

EDIT: Just to be clear, this is the version with a 2200mah battery that also charges your phone while in use.

UPDATE: Looks like Amazon dropped their price very recently from $79.99 down to $55 to try to price match. Another option for people.

If you are rooted, just get Sixaxis Controller app and a PS3 controller.. best option by far imo

You can get a GameKlip or make your own if you want it mounted but I personally like to use mhl or slimport (depending on which phone I am using) and mirror my display to a TV

EDIT: Sorry I thought I read this was for $30. Not much of a deal if Amazon sells it for 50ish as well

Amazon was selling it for $79 when I posted this. Right now Amazon is selling it for $55. My guess is someone did the price match thing to get Amazon to drop the price today. Still, with the Target option you can get it immediately.

No the GameKlip just mounts to Ps3 controller with most cases (you can make your own). The TV was just my preference.

so gameklip = $20
PS3 controller = $40

Total cost for makeshift solution = $60

or buy this for $50...

You could make your own GameKlip (check XDA) and some ppl might have PS3 controller already. Just posting a method that might help some people not thread crapping, this is a good deal (I have bought one in the past and it was overall pretty good). Good night hug

Dang, thought it was $30 total as opposed to $30 off. I have the basic MOGA from a Slickdeal and thought it was the bee's knees for about a week until I realized I just don't game much on my phone. In fact, I realized I pretty much only use it to text, make phone calls, and browse SD. Then I regretted the Note 3 that I also got from a Slickdeal, because it's pretty impractical for someone who only uses a phone in that way. Damn this site and it's mystical and irresistible "limited time offer" vortex.

Got the first MOGA when it first came out (now the pocket). Terrible game support, buttons were clicky, joysticks were pretty bad.
I bought the MOGA Hero Power a month after it came out, MUCH improved from the first one but the triggers are kinda squishy. $60 for a controller is a little too much though, only got it because I had a gift card someone gave me.
Won the Pro Power in a twitter contest a month later. This thing is as big as my Xbox 360 controller, it does not fit it a pocket like the MOGA Pocket or Hero. Joysticks are smoother than the 360 controller and the Dpad actually works well for movement.
Honestly would prefer this over a PS3 controller with GameKlip because I'm used to the 360 layout and the arm that holds your phone folds into the controller making it much more portable.
The Pro, Hero, and Pro Power all have an A mode for MOGA enhanced games and B mode for HID compatible games which also works with most emulators.

I managed to get all 3 connected at the same time and played Super Smash Bros with friends through slimport HDMI.

I just bought a $4 micro usb to mini usb cord to connect to one of my old ps3 controllers. The case on my Nexus 7 already has a stand so it this solution works well for me.

Can't you just use bluetooth?
