Wow, this is such a good deal....front page worthy. You literally can buy 1st party and indy games from the e-shop at a 20% discount. I did this to buy Zelda: Link Between Worlds at a 20% discount when there were no sales, and I always have a virtual copy on hand when I have another cart with me.

This is a must buy for games like Animal Crossing or games that use streetpass where it would be handy not to have the cartridge all the time.

Heard about this upcoming deal. Excited from the recent announcement of Wii U NES Remix 2 already. Loved the 1st one. Perfect timing.

You actually don't need the cartridge in the system to receive StreetPasses, even if you own the cartridge version of a game. As long as the game is set up for StreetPass, you'll receive them. But nonetheless, I agree a game like Animal Crossing would be good to have as a digital version.

I have 5 bucks at best buy expiring on 2/22
If I buy it now using my coupon, can I get the price adjusted when the sale is on?

I think I'll be doing that. As posted earlier, they pricematch themselves within 15 days. I've used that service in the past when buying my 3DS.

A buddy of mine owes me one of these. He deleted my linked WII U account. Guess what else it does? Delete your entire purchase history. I called Nintendo and it cannot be reactivated. I guess it warns you like 20 times. I'm making him buy me lunch and also punching him in the gut.

This is on my list as well. In Europe's eShop, the game will be 30% off this Thursday. I really hope North America follows! Combined with the Best Buy deal, it would make for a nice discount!

Has anyone played BOTH Animal Crossing download version vs cartridge?

1) How are the load/save times on the download version vs. cartridge?

2) I've read numerous complaints about saved games being corrupted or lost (seems much more frequent on the download version than the cartridge). Has anyone experienced this? Should I be worried about game corruption on my SD card?

3) Is there a way to transfer my saved game from cartridge to download?

I would love to buy the download version of animal crossing and free up my game slot, but I am concerned about the above issues (especially #2 & #3). TIA.
