So I was going through next weeks Target ad (Feb 23 - Mar 1), and noticed on the back page the "weekly wow":

Five 12 packs of Coke products for $10 (limit 10 packs per purchase). This appears to be a national deal. Obviously, this is a B&M deal and YMMV.

This is a great opportunity to stock up, Walmart charges about $7 a case right now. Sale should last until next Saturday.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Get 5 12-packs for $10 with extra 5% discount with redcard. Also, check Cartwheel app for an extra 5% off coupon. There is a separate one for Coke and one for Dr. Pepper (none for Sprite Frown). You must buy 5 to get the deal.

$10 - 5% Redcard - 5% Cartwheel = $9.02, aka $1.80 per 12-pack...or 15 cents per can if you're into that. Is this 1980?
Insane deal; cheaper than 2-Liters. Keep in mind that deposits still apply.

Screenshot of the ad. Price varies from 10-12 for 5 per state, but if you show them the ad then they will price match it to 10 for 5.

Does anyone have a scan of the add? I do not live within 50 miles of a target, but Wal-mart likes to price match.

Thanks,

The ad will be on Target's website tomorrow. Just type in your ZIP code and flip to the back page.

oh hey T is most likely doing this to win back customers. coca cola is what is called a loss leader which means that the mark up is negative, zero, or near zero as it is an item that customers want and brings in customers to buy other things that have a higher mark up. so at $2/12pk they are definitely losing money.
