The R7000 is a great high performance router. It is ranked very high in tests by smallnetbuilder (a well respected network gear testing website).

Got the Nighthawk with the free SB5121 modem about a month ago. Works like a charm and haven't had any issues mentioned in the reviews. FAST.

I've been looking at getting one of these and waiting for a good deal on it.
This is better than the Staples deal since there's no tax as well. woot

I got mine three weeks ago at Staples for $145. I am running most recent firmware. Not sure how impressed I am, I really can't say coverage is better than my old Dlink DIR-615 running DD wrt. I actually think I see more reconnections. I am keeping and hope the firmware matures over the next few months. It seems both this and the Asus have far more issues than the stellar reviews you read want you to believe

With all the hype i was really surprised with the number of bad bad reviews.

This thing looks bad ass and i hope they get the bugs worked out.

I also think some of these users might not know what they are doing... when things have a ton of features it just gives the newb a ton of places to screw things up

I'm still temped to pick this up
