Netflix on Roku 2 XS - What happened to Recently Added category?

johnnyblades 4,482 1,538 February 28, 2014 at 10:41 AM
I have a couple Roku 2 XS units and noticed about a week ago that the Recently Added and Recently Released categories are gone (as are several others that we used). Netflix is mainly used by the young kids and the categories are nice and easy for them to navigate. But now there is no way to check what's new on Netflix.
But hey, I can check what's popular on Facebook (who gives a s##t)!

I see now way to change the listed categories on the Roku or on the Netflix website preferences.

Any help??

one site claims that this comes and goes. is that true? I've never noticed it before and I've had this set up for years.
anybody else having the same issue or is it just me?

there is a new releases, which isn't updated very often. i prefer the recently added.
by the way, on my Roku 3 neflix the Recently Added section is still there. that has the new updated UI. the roku 2 XS has the older UI and it has lost the Recently Added
