my quarts of Pennzoil Platinum didn't have the code under the caps so I had to upload a copy of my receipt. the purchase date of the oil was last week so I'm not sure if I'll get the credit (this program starts March 1st).

I have bought 3 gallon jugs of oil. I successfully entered one code for $1 off a gallon of gas. One of them had a code but I think it was from a previous promotion. It told me the code was not valid. The other one didn't have a code. I submitted my receipt for 2 of them yesterday. I think they are changing the look of the packaging and the new look has the codes. The one with the code had a Jan 2014 date on the back. Any future ones I buy will be the new ones so I don't have to worry about submitting for codes.

The gallon jug was $25.14 at meijer with a $10 mir limit 2 per household. Making it a MM. It was the same price at walmart but meijer is the only one participating in the mir.

Im amazed how so many people have no problem stealing. Every singe one of the bottles at my walmart was opened and the two I purchased had the codes already redeemed. Makes me more sad for society then anything else.

If you did not receive a code with your purchase, you can upload your receipt on the same page where you entered your codes and they will email you a code.

Uploaded my receipt for the first group of oil changes I bought and received my codes in 10 days. I was surprised. Using AutoZone deals and rebate sites this becomes nearly a free oil deal. I followed up with a few subsequent purchases now knowing which bottle to avoid (old style label) as they wouldn't have the codes. Ended up with over $6.00 off per gallon used on 3 different fill ups. Received an email last week basically accusing me of stealing codes and goosed me out of any further participation in the program. No issue though as I have enough oil for many, many future oil changes.

This was from the May AutoZone deal.

Just bought in on the Pennzoil Platinum synthetic oil deal at Auto Zone.

1) Link through be frugal dot com for 8% rebate.
2) Load 15 quarts of oil + 2 Bosch oil filters + 1 Mobil1 oil filter to get your basket above $100.
3) Basket now qualifies for $25 gift card + free shipping - using code TRAVEL25
4) Each quart comes with a code under the cap for Shell fuel perks. Each code is good for $.20 off per gallon up to 20 gals.

So my total:

$109.92 after tax (15 qts + 3 filters)
-$8.79 urlhasbeenblocked rebate
-$25.00 gift card
-$60.00 free gas (15 x $.20 per gal. x 20 gallons)

Net cost = $16.13

**UPDATE rebate from urlhasbeenblocked was $12.95 (they're using the full amount vs. discounted)
New net cost = $11.97**

Best part is they ship to your home so no trip to the auto parts store needed.

Tried searching but couldn't find the deal. Hence the post. Did see one from 2010 but that was a while back so thought it was worth the share.

Apologies if it is a repost though, legitimately did not find it.
