Price Comparison: Our research indicates that 6.5" Infinity Primus 163 Bookshelf Speaker is $45 lower (43% savings) than the next best available price from a reputable merchant with prices starting at $105. - daisybeetle

Deal Editor's Note: Prior frontpage deal at $60. A well reviewed item at Amazon with nearly 5 full stars from 59 reviewers - daisybeetle

Featured User Comment on Product: "I picked these up last summer from the $60ea Amazon deal. They have much more bottom end than the JBL 4.5" bookshelves they replaced, and all the mids and highs have great detail. I use them for bedroom music and movies, and don't feel like I'm missing out not having a sub hooked up. They have fairly high SPL (90dB) and sound amazing and strong with my digital T-amp ( with only 15watts per channel max )" - m0nsieur

Price is now updated in the product page.

http://www.frys.com/product/72373...IN_RSLT_PG

Note: This can also be used as a center channel speaker for those who have the P363 towers or the P163 as front left and right channels. I currently have the P363 as my left/right and the 163 as my center channel and it sounds great! Smilie

Amazon just price matched!

Their sale usually lasts till Thursday, if am not wrong. But they sell out on the free shipping offer in one or two days after the posting their ad. If you have a Frys store nearby, you should find a few in store this week.

I would have to have it shipped. I have the C351, P363's ffor fronts and rear. This would perfectly finish off a 7.1 setup.

Thanks for the info

How do these compare to the pioneer bs21/bs22's?

Ive owned the 22's. I was much more impressed with the 163's when I finally got to hear them in person. They are a better built speaker in my personal opinion.

I'm waiting for the calling center to open, but I noticed the website says:

Quote :
Limit 1 per Household. (when purchased between 03/02/2014 and 03/06/2014)
Will I be able to get a pair with one order?

Thanks OP. Was so bummed to miss the Energy RC-10 deal and would get Pioneer BS41's but not really fond of the looks. Also want bass porting on the front, not back, for my setup. These are a good compromise for the money!

Would work great for backs. Could also do for fronts, although it would sound much better if you did towers in the front and these in the back.
That's my thought.

I'm planning to have towers for the front. But I already have the 5.1 wiring. So thought of doing 5.1 + towers to make as 7.1. Not sure if that would be a over kill. Kinda confused.

It depends on where your wires are. You can use 3 of the existing wires for the fronts + center and the 2 rear wires for either rear or back. It wouldn't be overkill, just make sure you send a 7.1 signal to your received. Mine can only accept 7.1 through the analog inputs (it's a few years old)...
