Thread Details

You qualify for money if you bought DRAM or products containing DRAM (computers, printers, video game consoles or other electronic devices) between 1998 and 2002.

The minimum recovery is $10, while larger purchasers could receive a $1,000 or more.

I know I didnt claim enough stuff. I only counted two consoles and some were bought multiple times yet alone way more than two were bought overall. They dont have digital cameras on there. Guess not many had them back then. Im sure im not claiming enough memory sticks but Ill leave some cash for others. Thanks for posting this. I might hand this off IRL to some tech people I know.

I wonder if my wife also makes a claim, will that throw up any flags? I've lost out on class action suits in the past when they did a de-dupe using addresses. Once they actually just invalidated both claims.

Thanks OP, wouldn't have seen this otherwise. I claimed about 10 items that I legit bought, just hope they don't ask for any kind of proof of purchase.

I found this through another site and was going to post it here - to me it's a deal, if it essentially saves on past purchases. Good Job OP!

With only $310m and attorneys claiming 25% of that, there won't be enough to pay out all claims while maintaining the $10 minimum... I'm pretty sure this will be like most other class actions in which the only people that make out on this are the lawyers...

Are you guys serious with posting this on here?! This isen't a "deal".. it's not some coupon! Now TONS of cheap pathetic bastards, most don't even deserve it, are going to be trying to milk the crap out of this, leaving no money for anyone deserving it. SMH @ the wife question.. "can I double up on this coupon?"

People are so pathetic..

There will always be abuse. Other similar settlements like the LCD panel one (which I still haven't gotten anything from) and the lawnmower HP settlement I would have never seen had it not popped up on SD.

I have spent hundreds if not thousands too much on memory because memory makers jacked up their prices, but I'll probably end up with $10. $310M is a drop in the bucket to them, and settlements like this won't prevent this type of behavior in the future.
