On sale at Green Man Gaming. This equals the lowest price ever recorded for this game according to Steam price checker.

I was going to buy it but then I noticed that the Gold edition was also on sale. Thanks to my wonderful 'googling' skills, Big Grin I just scored myself a great deal on the Gold edition for less than $10! Whee The links for the games are included below.

Use voucher code: OQE4LG-WEQPSE-SMCME1 at checkout for an additional 20% off. (purchase must be atleast 10.00 or more for this coupon to work).

Euro Truck Simulator 2 [greenmangaming.com] $6.24 *
Euro Truck Simulator 2 Gold edition [greenmangaming.com] ** $11.89 ($9.52 AC price).

* Again to re-iterate, the voucher code will not work on this game if your purchase is under $10.
** Gold edition includes the base game plus Going East! add-on.

=========================================================================================

It has been pointed by Insomniac34, that it is cheaper to buy the base game and the Going East! add-on separately.
base game ($6.24) + Going East! add-on ($4.41) = $10.65
Use the voucher code above to make the final purchase price $8.51

Link [greenmangaming.com] for the Going East! add-on.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It should be noted that it's a dollar cheaper to buy the base game and the Go East DLC [greenmangaming.com] individually. Comes out to $8.52 AC.

I probably wouldn't recommend getting the DLC right away since the game certainly isn't for everyone (I found it to be surprisingly fantastic and relaxing, FWIW). It only adds a handful of new countries and some improved landscapes, nothing all that significant IMO. If you like it enough you can always get the DLC for ~$3 during a future sale. As it stands there's more than enough content in the base game to keep you hooked for 40+ hours.

Bought the game and the expansion, played it for 20 minutes, and already regret it Smilie

I got it cause I liked the oculus rift demo of it, when the oculus comes out maybe I'll revisit the game.

If I remember right those were more arcade leaning, this is more cut and dry and closer to simulation. The next major update is supposed to improve upon quite a few things if the beta testers are to be believed.

Hey just a heads up for Mods for the game. Promod add more countries and add more cities inside France.http://www.promods.net/viewforum.php?f=1

The other mod is Called Poland Rebuilding and you must have the DLC going east to use this mod. It add more cities inside Poland.http://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopi...32&t=48363

These both work together just fine and add a ton of more countries and a lot more cities.
