How do I disable Metro all together in Windows 8.1? Can I do this via Group Policy?

Here, is the last question I have regarding disabling particular settings in Windows.

How do I disable Metro all together in Windows 8.1? Can I do this via Group Policy?
I de-selected the relevant options in the taskbar, but it would be great to simply disable the metro interface and force users to work in the desktop interface only.

Windows 8.1 is a stable operating system, but I want to disable Metro to avoid confusion for new users in my workspace environment.

Please let me know what choices are available. Thank you.

Thank you! Windows 8 is still something getting used to even after a couple years. Smilie

I am just avoiding it to tell the truth I do not understand why every OS since XP has required more steps to do the same thing as the previous OS.

True to that. I think Microsoft wants their customers to think outside the box now as technology is making people more dependent on their gizmos rather than their own brains (CPU). Big Grin
