is there a easier way to track posts/replies
I'd like to suggest that there would be a way to track posts/replies and delete the ones you don't want to have on your list anymore.

There is. You can subscribe to threads, and manage your subscriptions in your user CP.
Enhance your Slickdeals experience by increasing the number of posts per page in vBulletin:
