Sears has the 72" Large GearBox Floor Cabinet for $202.99. This is the 18" deep model, not the 24" deep, but both are RTA cabinets.

http://www.sears.com/gladiator-ez...D=11042411

SAVE15 works to drop it to $187.99. Also, check your SYWR for the "Earn $10 in points for every $50 spent".

Free store pickup. I also found an extra $10 in my account this morning that expire at the end of the month.

Description Item # 00938185000P Model # GALG36KDYG
The Jumbo GearBox stands six feet tall and delivers three full-width shelves, providing flexible storage solutions. The locking Tread Plate doors offer security. Adjustable leveler legs allow the Jumbo GearBox to rest securely even on uneven floors. It can also hang on Gladiator® wall systems using the included Wall Bracket Kit.
The new EZ design of Gladiator brand’s Ready-To-Assemble cabinets allows select models to be put together in half the time. The more efficient design also means fewer parts and pieces, so you stop wasting time on storage assembly and spend more time working on the projects you enjoy.
All Gladiator® Ready-To-Assemble cabinets are equipped with a heavy duty steel construction, hammered granite finish and bold Tread Plate design for a sturdy, trusted place to store your garage items.

Faster Assembly

The new EZ design allows select cabinets to be assembled in almost half the time and makes cleanup time fast and easy so you spend more of the day concentrating on your project list.

Fewer Loose Parts

Back plates come pre-attached to the cabinet, eliminating the need for previously required hardware. This makes cabinet assembly much simpler and saves you valuable time. Also, the redesigned screws start easier and are harder to strip out.

Locking Tread Plate doors with durable magnetic latch

Built to Last

The Allen head bolt screws and back plates offer excellent cabinet structure for years of garage use. Purchase and assemble with confidence as the 10-year limited warranty helps put your mind at ease.

Two Full Width Adjustable Shelves and One Fixed Shelf

The full-width adjustable shelves provide flexibility to meet changing storage needs.

Rated Weight Capacity: 450 lbs. per Cabinet and 100 lbs. for Each Shelf

Rated load 450 lbs. per cabinet and rated load 100 lbs. for each shelf

Hammered Granite Powder coat Finish

The powder coating process on the shelf electrostatically bonds and bakes the protective coating to the bare metal, forming an effective barrier against corrosion

Might want to consider adding a link to the product on sears.com perhaps [sears.com]?

The 28" RTA wall cabinet is also on sale for $83 with save15 for those who cant wait on a deal on the premier wall cabinets.

Linky:
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_1015...938187000P

I posted this in an older thread but the prices/deals are still available as of today...

30" Shelf - $31.49
48" Shelf - $37.79
45" Gearloft Shelf - $44.09

For those maximizing the deal, you can purchase the 30" shelf and 45" shelf (I did this), total comes out to $75 so you can use the Save15 discount. For those with SYWR coupon (YMMV) for $10 back in points for purchases over $50, it sweetens the deal. Referencing the Gladiator Dealfinder Master (Mddong), just under $40 for the gearloft shelf is pretty decent deal!

The Premier line of wall cabinets are welded frames, so they come fully assembled. The RTA is a lower duty version that comes in smaller packaging, but you have to assemble them.

Thanks. I love the 8' maple workbench. I am thinking of using it in my temporary home office. I work at home for time being and am thinking that once my boss retires and I am out of work my DH could use it in the garage. I love the workspace on that thing.

Does anyone know the quality difference between the deal posted (GALG36KDYG) and this other 72" cabinet? http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_1015...995719000P (GAJG36FDYG)

I believe both are of the RTA line. The only difference is the depth (original OP's is 18" vs the 24" in your link)

Do you to buy a separate (or multiple) bracket to mount these on the wall w/ geartrack? The description says " It can also hang on Gladiator® wall systems using the included Wall Bracket Kit." .. but I just want to confirm from someone who has installed these.

Thanks!

Are extra 6" on the wider cabinet worth $100? 24" version would be flush with Gladiator shelves and table that are also 24", but the shelves in the 24" version are rated 50 lbs vs 100 lbs in the narrower version. Anyway, ordered 18" version already and there is no way to cancel. BTW, those 10,000 surprise points in the account are the "Craftsman tool of the month" monthly points.

Yes, the ones that don't say RTA are not RTA.
