DEAD

OFFER HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 04/30/2014!
For those getting error messages when submitting the form, try incognito mode or inprivate tab to get the link to work.

You need to sign up online. You can go directly to the dealer, as long as they are a participating dealer and don't require an appointment
To check which locations are participating click this link, enter your zip code, and check the filter "Cadillac Test Drive Offer" [cadillac.com]

ALIVE. It works if you follow the above instructions. It may take 3 or 4 attempts.

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY SORT OF CONFIRMATION EMAIL AFTER THE DEALER SUBMITS YOUR REBATE INFO. SOME DEALERS PRINT OUT A CONFIRMATION PAGE ONCE THEY SUBMIT THE REBATE BUT THAT IS ONLY IF THEY DO IT WHILE YOU ARE IN THE DEALERSHIP. OTHERWISE, JUST PATIENTLY WAIT AND HOPE YOU RECEIVE THE REBATE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.
For complete rules and details: http://www.gmdisclaimer.com/disclaimers.aspx

I sell Cadillacs at Gerry Lane Cadillac in Baton Rouge - All you need to bring are your driver's license, a current copy of your insurance and a copy of a valid registration of a non-GM vehicle 2004 or newer that is registered at the same address as the one on your driver's license. We fill the information out for you. See Karin if you're in Baton Rouge!

The is what the dealer does:
1. go to gmexcellence.com website
2. enter user name and password
3. fill in a dozen or so boxes (Name, addrress, current car info, test drive car etc.).

Sometimes, you can get away by just showing the fine print and tell them that you are interested in the deal and not the car, and they may not be really pushy. I did that with one of the Chevy dealers for the Macys gift card deal, and surprisingly it went through super smooth. But I agree, it is YMMV, and it depends entirely on the type of salesman you encounter.

They list dealers near you, the question though is which one is participating in the promotion.

Yep, unless you're a child of Beverly Hills, I don't think anyone under the age of 21 can afford these pricey cars!

Exactly. I've done it with Jaguar and Land Rover in the past. I tell them straight up I'm in love with my M3 and I have no interest in ever driving an American car. They work there because that's the company that offered them the sales job. I don't even bother with a test drive and I never hear from them. $100 bucks to literally drive down the street for me is worth it. Thanks OP!
