OFFER HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 04/30/2014!
For those getting error messages when submitting the form, try incognito mode or inprivate tab to get the link to work.

You need to sign up online. You can go directly to the dealer, as long as they are a participating dealer and don't require an appointment
To check which locations are participating click this link, enter your zip code, and check the filter "Cadillac Test Drive Offer" [cadillac.com]

ALIVE. It works if you follow the above instructions. It may take 3 or 4 attempts.

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY SORT OF CONFIRMATION EMAIL AFTER THE DEALER SUBMITS YOUR REBATE INFO. SOME DEALERS PRINT OUT A CONFIRMATION PAGE ONCE THEY SUBMIT THE REBATE BUT THAT IS ONLY IF THEY DO IT WHILE YOU ARE IN THE DEALERSHIP. OTHERWISE, JUST PATIENTLY WAIT AND HOPE YOU RECEIVE THE REBATE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

The dealer straight away asked if we are here for the $100 promo. I said yes, he got the license, insurance and registration card and took a copy and said he will put it in, I will get the card in 6weeks.
Rookie mistake.... He said he will put it in. Surrrrrrre he will. Big Grin

Wouldn't a dealer figure out if you are there for the promo if you are <99 years old?

What was the sticker price on the Lexus?
What was your lease payment for the 3 years?
How much did Carmax buy it for after the lease?
I don't remember original sticker (it's been 3 years) but...

Lease payment was $340 a month, CA tax inclusive on $2000 down and 12k miles. Buyout was $20k, Carmax picked it up at $26k. Going Bluebook was $27k, so was Craigslist pricing. But since purchasing and reselling takes a tax hit, it was even cheaper going to Carmax for $1k less since they handle the taxes (not to mention way less hassle).

On my current Mercedes, I'm not even in the ballpark. $27k buyout, $21k at Carmax. It's flipped.

The dealer told me I needed to sign up on the Cadillac website and get a confirmation number and make an appointment and a bunch of other poo. So I signed up on the website, got a confirmation email from their internet sales manger, and scheduled an appointment for later today. If it was out of my way I'd probably say screw it. But since they're <10 minutes away from me I'm determined to get my gift card.

I filled out the form.

Local Cadillac dealer emailed me at 5:38pm March 12th:
Quote :
Are you looking for a 2013 or 2014 Cadillac ATS? We are taking up to $8,000 off our 2013 Cadillac ATS.
We also will deliver to your front door.
(Just to let you know, we are giving $100.00 Gift Card to our Non GM owners, that come in for a test drive!!)
I replied right away asking what I needed to bring in for the gift card and also asked him the pricing on a specific ATS model after the discounts he mentioned in his email.

He replies this morning at 11am March 13th:
Quote :
We are out of Gift Cards at this time... it was while supplies last.
That was his entire email.
Needless to say, I won't be test driving the ATS this weekend. Also, as I was actually considering buying an ATS in the near(ish) future, I won't be purchasing one from this dealer for sure.

That is rotten customer service. Get a Lexus instead. You will be much happier.

I filled in online. But that it did not seem to have any bearing.

He was very nice and I hope he will put it in. He even gave a fax number to send my insurance proof because I had it on my phone.

Moreover, I cannot force him to enter it in front of me.

What Lexus would you reccomend I go test drive?
Looking for something sporty and not too expensive. Don't need a bunch of room except for the drives seat as I'm decently tall and need to leg room.

just filled it out. within 10 minutes my phone started ringing. A call from the dealer. I let it go to voice mail.. and received the email with a list of ALL Cadillacs in stock and pricing. they really want to sell these cars! I own all GM cars so maybe will take my mother and her PRIUS to do the deal. Smilie

I sent this email to the dealer. Use as a guideline. Please don't copy and paste
"Good afternoon I'm interested in test driving the ATS since I'm currently cross shopping other cars in the rear wheel drive compact category such as the BMW 3 series, Lexus IS and Mercedes C-class. I wasn't originally considering a GM product but I figure I will give the ATS a try since it's received a lot of good reviews from car magazines. I'm also interested in the gift card promotion and would like to schedule a test drive on Friday if possible."
