This missing flight gets more bizarre every day. What do you think happened to it? Will it ever be found? Did it crash? Was it taken somewhere with all the passengers still on it?

The New Straits Times quoted sources close to the investigation saying that the failure to turn up any debris at the current southern Indian Ocean search site was causing a rethink among investigators.
...
Sources had earlier told the New Straits Times that they were considering revisiting the scenario that the plane had landed at an unknown location.

"The thought of it landing somewhere else is not impossible, as we have not found a single debris that could be linked to MH370. However, the possibility of a specific country hiding the plane when more than 20 nations are searching for it, seems absurd," the sources said.

The sources told the paper that another possibility was that the plane had crash landed in a remote spot.

Today's kids just play "hide" since competition is no longer allowed.

I heard that as soon as the seeker counts to 10, the hiders have to jump out and say, "here we are".

And they all jump out at different times because it doesn't matter if they get the counting wrong.

Interesting... I've speculated that the pinging they heard was from a fake pinging device that ran just long enough to divert the entire worlds attention to that one spot in the ocean. Seems like a common sense thing to do. Drop a pinging device into the deepest part of the ocean and no one will think to look anywhere else. When people start to hone in on it have it cut out for good. If this thing looked like one of those speaker rocks, that submarine would never find it.

There was speculation it was actually one of those tracking beacons attached to a whale (for research purposes).
