Resolved: Deal alerts: how do I register a phone number

darksarcasm March 15, 2014 at 07:56 PM
I am trying to setup a deal alert and the option for a mobile phone is greyed out, the tooltip says "no device registered". I looked through the deal alert and my profile but I dont see any way to do that.

I don't believe that's supported.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that option is only for the SD mobile app. The deal alerts are "pushed" through via the app as a notification and not a text.

( hopefully a dev can confirm or explain better. lol)

Unfortunately, we do not support SMS.

You can only get mobile deal alert notifications if you have either our iOS or Android mobile app.
