Dungeon Defenders, the 2nd game of the month for the Games for Gold is active now.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US...0258410b6d

You have to be an XBox Live Gold member to get it.
If you don't have a credit card or PayPal account on file you probably won't be able to download it directly from the website so you just have to log on to your actual XBox 360 to download it.
You have until the end of the month to download it.

Here's the thread for the first game, Civ Rev, which should still be free for a few more hours.

I didn't know there was DLC for this game. It is quite expensive, so does anyone know if it is worth it?

I doubt it. Most of MS' games that have been "free" were ancient relics or complete trash. Shoot Many Robots and Ascend weren't anywhere near remotely fun and were obviously only given away only to entice you to spend hundreds of dollars on required upgrades. Toy Soldiers: Cold War was okay, so I bought the original game, which was a huge letdown.

I bought this game a year or so ago with some of the DLC and it is very fun. I also bought it on Steam for my PC. Havent played in the past few months but there used to be many people online to play with.

the dlc is pretty expensive but is completely game changing. having access to other characters makes it so much more fun. I had it on ps3 then got it on steam with all the dlc. not sure how they break it up but as fun as the game is, once again the free monthly games are those of almost no actual value. thus far these free games have been a joke

The free games with gold is a scam just so they can add to xbox live golds feature list. No game so far that was free was worth the time playing. Or they were games I already had. Most people with xbox live gold have played most of the major releases they gave free (Halo 3, GOW). Granted, I already had gold well before this promotion even started, they should give something real or at least give a few choices per month.

This was a good game years ago when it came out. Xbox gives away years old games. PSN gives away Tomb Raider! Yeah. It's a wonder why PS4 sales are doubling X1.
