Nice deal.

The normal bonus is 40,000 HHonors points after $1,000 in purchases in the first 4 months.
And there's not normally a $50 statement credit.

HHonors points are worth about 1/2 cent apiece, so this is an additional $100 value (i.e. $50 for 10,000 HHonors points + $50 for statement credit) above the normal offer.

Thanks for this. If you don't travel that much, can the points be redeemed as a statement credit?

and FYI, there's Amex version of it.
50,000 points after $750 spend in 3 months

Better & safer option maybe?
Earn 7 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points for each dollar of eligible purchases charged directly with a participating hotel or resort within the Hilton HHonors portfolio of brands‡
Earn 5 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points for each dollar of eligible purchases at U.S. restaurants, U.S. supermarkets, and U.S. gas stations‡
Earn 3 Hilton HHonors Bonus Points for all other eligible purchases on your Card‡

And I assume this credit card offer is gonna last long in FP like this Chase Slate deal LMAO

Or if you want two weekend nights, this might be better with an annual fee & status

Is this card only worth it if you stay at Hilton hotels a lot/plan to use this as a primary card to accumulate points?

Hearing the points are worth about 1/2 cent each, the offer doesn't seem all that enticing compared to some of the other sign up bonuses out there, unless you would normally stay at Hilton hotels anyway.

Not trying to criticize the bonus or OP at all, just trying to get a clear picture of how this compares to some of the other sign up bonuses.

I value the hilton points somewhere around 1/3 cent after a steep devaluation...

IMO not that valuable, with 50,000 points
it will get you 0~2 nights, fancy hotel will require you 60,000 points per night
try to get Chase IHG(80k offer is dead btw), Hyatt, Sapphire Preferred

But Reserve card has an annual fee. This is a good card to park the points and keep them from expiring via cc spend. Plus no reason not to get both eventually.
