Here's how it works:
Add item to your cart at Sears here
Price on the website is $949.99 + tax.
Add Coupon "SEARS50" for $50 off.
Once you proceed to cart, the price should update to $672 + tax.
Once you pick a ship date, you have two options
1. leave in the default of $127.50 off or
2. pick the option to get $199 back in rewards points - which would up the price to $799 + tax.
Additional points to note:
If you have a SYWR account, you may also have a coupon to get an additional $50 of SYWR points back on the transaction. YMMV. However, the $199 option is a cap, so you can't get the additional $50 of SYWR points with the $199 of SYWR points option, so this is only useful if you pick the $127.50 in cash off option (which might be preferable to some who don't want to deal with the points).
If you want installation, you can add it - cost will depend on your location - and get a rebate of up to $150 here . For some installation will probably be FAR. For others, like me in NYC, you may need to pay $20. However - note that Sears does NOT charge sales tax on orders with installation service added, which might reduce your cost significantly in a high tax state.
YMMV and at your own risk, but the Sears website is also pretty buggy and if you try adding and then removing the installation option, you might be able to get the order to go through without charging sales tax even if you don't add the installation. (THIS IS NOT LEGAL OR TAX ADVICE - PLS CONSULT YOUR RABBI AS TO WHETHER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS).
Don't forget cashback!
