So i've been wanting to get a car lift for my house for a long time. My garage isn't that big but does have tall ceilings. i did some research and thought about buying a scissor lift but then came across the www.maxjaxusa.com one. the video looked promising but the price has always been $2300 plus shipping. I then checked out danmar.com who is the parent company and sure enough costco is an authorized dealer. They had it for $2300 too but i couldn't do it... then i saw the other night until the end of the month you can get it for $1999 shipped to your door. And with costco great lifetime return policy on non-electronics i said why not. Danmar called today and said my lift will be shipping out tomorrow and should arrive at my house next week. No tailgate or residential fee either.

Thanks,
Sid

are you going to install it yourself, or get it professionally done?

Lol you're living my dream also.. I work on all our cars, my parents, siblings & several friends cars.. I've saved them tens of thousands in labor & thought about getting one of these.. Most of the above were even game to kick down some $ & pay for it when I said I wanted it..

Then I showed the exact Costco product to my wife & said this is going to be our garage.. She said yeah I know a 911... I was like yeah, but I meant the lift, it wouldn't cost us $2k as ppl are willing to get it for me..

she basically rolled her eyes & said it wasn't happening & I have enough "toys" (cars, tools, parts, etc) in the garage & I wasn't getting a lift otherwise someone (meaning my car guy friends) would be over every weekend installing some part.. Which is probably true..

I'm going to give you a thumbs up just for getting it & being able to convince your significant other to let you!!!

Nice find, are you able to park a 2nd car under this?

Have a summer car that sits unused most of the fall and winter.
Do you think you could park a 2nd car under and still get the doors open easily enough to get in and out of the lower car?
