quick which one: DCK286D2 or DCK290L2?!

the DCK290L2 does have more (positive) reviews and has a cool handle on it look around

I'd go with the D2. It's got smaller batteries, but they're brushless, so they are more efficient. Also they will obviously be more lightweight. I don't think you'll be able to find cordless drills that aren't brushless in a year or two.

I have more ryobi drills than i can shake a stick at ....but it is nice to see that they are finally putting brushless motors on drills/tools. We have been usijg them on rc planes for literally years as in 5 to 10 years.

I honestly cant tell the difference between all of these combos.

Dewalt needs to do better listing what batteries, what torque and what features come with each tool.
