Thanks. I was hoping another deal on NIS would come along, as my present subscriptions will expire soon.

Thanks. My NIS expires in less than a week. I have a plan to get me by for now, but have really been waiting for NIS to drop to $20 again.

Why did you not jump of the SD frontpage Free Kapersky offer?

Hmm. Yes, that is a good one. Honestly, I had not really paid attention to SD for a few days while I was traveling. This one popped up because of an alert I set up a while back. I do like that this NIS deal doesn't require a rebate, but that Kapersky deal is great if you don't mind the rebate hassle (and I usually don't mind).

I have not had Kapersky previosuly, but have had NIS and love NIS but prefer to get it for free after rebates.

Same here. But I haven't seen one in the past year or so (used to see it at Frys at least 2-3 times a year). I broke down and bought this one before my current subscription expires in a few months.

Multiple times per month you can get Bitdefender and Kaspersky FAR, both of which are consistently the top rated AV/IS packages.

For example: http://slickdeals.net/f/6802606-8-far-titles-kaspersky-pure-3-0-3-pcs-bitdefender-antivirus-plus-2014-3-pcs-2-years-avg-internet-security-2014-1-pc-2-years-more-fs-frys-com-upg-mir-req?v=1

Or if you can't do an upgrade rebate, wait a week or two and Newegg will have the same software with just a single rebate.

Bought mine from Fry's last month for 19$ and the 5-user for 29$. Yes, I have 8 computers in my house... and no, only 3 are mine.

EDIT:
I have used M$ Essentials which total trash and AVG which kinda meh. Norton has saved me from DSoS attacks while I BT... I mean fileshare with friends I never met. Also, those nice little ads that "Your Browser has Expired... Update here". Seriously the other 3 users in my house don't know whats real and Norton keeps me from reinstalling every machine in my house because someone actually believes those ads. Rather be safe then sorry.

Thanks for the Post... i will letting my friends know.

In for One. I normally order from Frys and have to send in my rebate to Norton which I notoriously fail to do. Ultimately this was less expensive than what I end up paying without the rebates.
