(ad before video)

The video of the kid getting punched is sooo hard to watch. Frown

If this were my child, I would sue the school, the parents of the kid that hit him, AND the kids that cheered. Mad

I think the parents should bring a crowd of people to the attackers house and beat him to a pulp while everyone cheers them on.

That first punch was a pretty good shot and this kid took it without going down. A little dazed but he didn't go down.

Television, movies, video games .... life in general; there is so much violence, kids have been desensitized. For some of them, compassion is the last thing on their mind. They would rather whip out their phone and get a "great" video of some kid getting beaten to death (or nearly so), than they had pick up a chair and defend the underdog from the bully.

It breaks my heart.

all those violences have existed long before now. Scarface came out in '81, Godfather series started in '72, Mortal Kombat was released in '92, Duke Nukem in '91. look at the violence in Looney Tunes?

the TV, movie, and video game argument is a cop-out.

Iagree

TV and movies was always violent. Maybe more so years back. Saturday morning cartoons were filled with violent content when I was a kid. We laughed and then went outside and playing baseball or something. It's a bullshit excuse for TV, movies, music, etc... to take the blame.

If that happened to my kid, heads would roll.

I'd tell my son when he gets older and has a nice job to go back to the town and find this kid working at mcdonalds. Just point and laugh.

I won't get into a p*ssing contest about the effects of TV, movie, game, and social media violence. You are free to think/believe whatever you wish.

The fact that this kid got his face rearranged over a pair of sneakers is unacceptable. The kid that did it should be treated as an adult and charged with a felony.
