Can someone tell me if PNC snail mail or email the signature card form? It was not given at the completion of the application. TIA

I don't know what they count as a direct deposit, but $5000 is really high. Looking further at the terms it seems to imply that an ACH transfer will probably count, and that maybe it's just the total number of direct deposits within 60 days.

$5,000 in qualifying direct deposit?

I never made that kind of money even when I had a job.

how hard or expensive is it to open a business account (if you don't actually have a business) and then use that acc to direct deposit your "paycheck"?

Using Paypal should be fine. For me, I've authorized Paypal to retrieve $5000 from my main bank account, then will authorize Paypal to DD it to PNC Bank. Then I will have PNC to send funds back to my main back account. I may have to repeat the process to avoid a monthly fee if bonus isn't deposited before a 2nd statement generates. As for as qualifying for the extra 100, I won't be doing that.

I called them and was told if you submitted the application online you're not out of luck if in a state that's excluded. There are several promos going on at the same time. Once the account is fully opened, they can add the promo you wanted or one that includes your state. Something is better than nothing. The previous promo for $150 is good until May 31st. But I'm hoping they can add me to the $300 deal.
