Need a suggestion for a listserv/mailing list alternative

Hello I need to let a group 0d 15 ppl be able to email each other and other than setting up a google or face book group, is there an alternative that doesn't require a dedicated server ? I am looking at list serve lite free and it seems that it requires a dedicated machine.

Depending on the specific nature of the group (details please), there may be other tools out there that would be appropriate. Generally speaking google and yahoo groups are two of the best platforms, google+ is also an option. Facebook groups aren't as capable.

Most of the mailing list software options don't require a "dedicated machine" per say. Most shared web hosting plans would be adequate (~$5/mo on the low end).

Another option could be something like mailchimp, but it doesn't quite fit your use case.

EDIT: Found http://www.freelists.org/ but imho google groups is more capable.

The only no server solution to handle maillist is to send out a email to all 15 recipients and everyone uses "reply all" button in their mail client software to do the discussion.
