Well worth the money imho. The first Witcher has a more eclectic combat and movement system. I couldn't get into it.

This seems to be the most discounted game in history. It feels like it's on sale more times than it's not. I might as well bite and buy it even though I will probably never play it.

What do you mean? Is Witcher 2 better?

I liked The Witcher 2 better, and for $4 I think it's 100% worth a buy

Great price. Although I won't buy it because I can't justify buying a game I'll never actually get to "finish". Being 30 sucks.

First Witcher I couldn't get into. Witcher 2 felt way more polished and fun. I'd pass on the first one unless you're some fanatic.

I'd bite if not for the fact that the Steam version - when it's on sale - sells for the exact same price.

Is the steam version also DRM free?

you can use the key you get from steam to activate on gog.com for the DRM free version.

I guess I'll have to remember that for Witcher 3.

Steam is DRM. You could put the DRM-free version in your Steam library as a non-Steam game, but if you activate a game on Steam, then it's inherently not DRM-free. Steam is Valve's DRM platform.
