Is this worth $70 more than the system from Newegg that was Front Page the other day? I don't know enough about this stuff to know the difference. I just want a good entry level system for cheap.

I got the 8 cam system and like it. The cams are grey so they don't stand out like the white ones. Easy to set up. The ios app is good but the droid one is a little tricky for revieurlhasbeenblocked detections

So they blocked the word motion

I'd be interested in that answer, too. The price seems good, based on a quick comparison of similar models online (that particular model may be branded for HD specifically, making it hard to track), but is it worth the additional $70, plus tax (for me and most)?

i don't get it. 700 TVL resolution but real-time resolution is 704x240. why would someone buy a security system with 704x240 resolution?

Hmm I'm confused. Home Depot's title says this is 960H, but then the specifications say 2CIF. I'm not sure which it is.

Order would not process after submitting order online. Local stores do not carry it. This setup is more expensive than current comparables on eBay by $10 and those have better resolution for real time viewing and 100' video cables as opposed to 60' cables.

I have a similar Qsee setup and love it, very good video for a low end system. How much better would this system be than mine? (See link for one I own)

I think 960H is the max recording resolution on the DVR, not the resolution you will get out of the cameras.

And I just bought the Newegg system from earlier this week. I would like to know someones opinion as well.
