.69 or .99 cent per pound Ground Beef at Albertsons !
At any of my local Albertson's, if you go in between 6:30-7:30 (when the meat market is getting ready to close) just ask them how much they will sell their ground beef/chuck/sirloin for. They don't want to have to wrap it up for the next day and the have the authority to mark it down. They will usually let whatever is left go for .99. ( I have bought over 10 pounds at times ) On occasion, I have haggled them down on their ground sirloin (normally 2.99/lb), down to .69!! Try it out, YMMV.
