Rewards Points: 250 can be redeemed for $5. Once redeemed they must be used within 60 days. If not redeemed the points expire? (this will be edited once I get clarification).

Example: Lets say I preorder Watchdogs and buy it.

Cost= $48 for game and $10 in rewards credit and would build up about 100 points. Trading in the game earns 2x points to the value of the game. For example, say I trade in Watch Dogs in a month and get $40 credit, that would earn another 80 points. Your next purchase would put you over 250 points in this example.

We can get a Wiki going with Info that is confusing or left out. This is a pretty quickly mashed up OP.

the rewards do expire but most times the will re issue them if you dont make a habit of it. i set mine for points for $20 so i can wait, if i want to use it ill log in and set the lower amount when im ready to use.

its not worth it at $120 but for $60 i had to jump, i might stack another membership so i can get the rewards twice and pre order credits.

If the points are not redeemed, do they expire in 60 days? Or is that only if you convert the points into store credit and don't use it?

Jumped on this yesterday.
Of note, my upgrade appeared on our account within 2 hours of buying it.

It appears they have information cards in the video game section that look like gift cards that you can bring to get scanned.

A lot of people over at cag use this membership to flip games for trade in.

Meaning they buy them elsewhere or at BB to trade them in? Just based on what I know so far, if you are the type of person who is willing to trade in a good amount of games when they aren't super old, this membership looks incredible for $30/year.

points expire a year after i believe. they also "auto-issue" at what ever amount you choose.
when you hit x amount of points a cert is issued. i think its 60 days to use that. i find it best to set it at $20(1000points) so i dont have to scramble to find something to buy so i dont loose the $5 cert. if i do want to use the points before i can just change my auto-issue amount and use it right away.

The current FAQs say that points expire after 12 months of inactivity, then they'll issue as many $5 certs they can and the remaining point are forfeited. If you're a higher level, you do have the option of point banking, which is what I'm doing.

Higher levels also have longer expiration dates on the certs.

Qualification is February to January. You have to re-qualify every year. When you log into MBB, you'll see the bar on the right side. I got Premier Silver three years ago and they gave me Elite Plus this year even though I didn't earn it, probably because of the whole change from RZ to MBB. There are a lot of perks, especially with the free expedited shipping, extra points, and more.

$1500/yr seems like an insane amount to spend on video game stuff though. I mean maybe if you buy all the consoles in a year there but if not, that's a whole lot of games.

that qualifying amount is for the entire BB loyalty program, purchases of any kind at BB, be it laptops, dishwashers, big screen TVs and so on. those who have the MBB MasterCard have their regular purchases count towards the Elite/Elite Plus thresholds.

I'll flesh out more in the wiki some point soon.

Time to get the BB mastercard then to maintain my status. Last year it was easy to hit with reselling PS4.
