This is my first deal I have, I went into Chase last week and the branch manager said this week they are offering the $200 cash back promotion when you spend $500 in the first 3 months.

Sure enough, when I went in today to apply for the Chase Freedom card and asked if they were offering any promotions for the card they confirmed the $200 cash back promotion. It is valid now through June 30th is what I was told. I have seen this deal posted before a while back, and just wanted to inform others that it is back again.

Chase has increased the sign up bonus on their freedom card to $200 after $500 in spend. Regular deal is a $100 sign up bonus. Points can be converted into Chase UR if you have a card that earns those points. Card has no annual fees & 5% rotating categories.

You should see the offer at the regular webpage: https://www.chase.com/freedom

Hopefully somebody can make use of it.
Weird your link takes me to the Southwest Airlines card application.

EDIT: Found correct link here: https://creditcards.chase.com/freedom?jp_cmp=cc/freedom/off/na/multiple

Um, Chase Freedom earns UR (Ultimate Rewards) by default.

This is an ok deal, but Chase has given bonuses up to $400 in the past for getting a Freedom card. Of course, there's no telling if/when the bonus will go higher than $200 in the future, so if you've been holding out for a bonus to get this card, now may be the time. The card itself is a great one to have in your wallet, offering 5% cash back on rotating categories throughout the year (like Discover) ... currently the 5% back is on restaurants, on up to $1500 in spending (so max $75 cash back per quarter). You also earn 1% unlimited cash back on everything else.

I normally use my Fidelity Amex Rewards card (2% cashback on everything, unlimited) for purchases that aren't covered by Discover or Chase Freedom at 5%, but in cases where a place doesn't take Amex, the 1% back is better than nothing.

$350 was highest ever, and it was for a matter of days. $300 was also short-lived, but not that short. $200 is still a bit low, but Chase doesn't really need to beg people to get this card. It's that good.

don't forget if you have a freedom card and a chase checking account that is open at the end of the year, you'll get an extra 10% in points on all points earned (both 5% and 1% purchases) for that year!

The bonus hasn't been higher than $200 for over 2 years. This is a very popular card and I've been waiting for an increased bonus. Will probably jump on it.

Link to historical/expired public offer?

Private/targeted offers obviously aren't applicable to this discussion.

Is there another way to check online to see if you are approved? It said they'll let me know in up to 10 days. Anyone approved right away? Maybe self employed is slower?
Then I got an email saying up to 30 days.
