If you have tried this before, this is not the old Go Launcher. This is a new version.

Using the code “appsales” allows you to unlock all GO Launcher Prime features for free. To enter the code open the menu and go to Preferences > About GO Launcher EX > Enter Activation code. This offer is only valid during the next 3 days and only for new users of GO Launcher. Existing users won’t find the dialog to enter the code.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

For those wondering what this is like me.

As the best home screen replacement, it offers you many first-ever features to customize your own homescreen experience.

____________________________________

~Standupdad says that if you can't find the preferences, do the following after you fully install the launcher and it takes over your home screen: Anywhere from the middle or higher on the home screen, find a blank space and then press and hold (long press) until 8 icons pop up on the bottom of your screen. There you will find Preferences, so you can then follow the path of "Preferences > About GO Launcher EX > Enter Activation code".

The reason for using a blank space somewhere in the middle or higher of your screen is what happens if you have a smaller screen, large fingers, etc... you end up accidentally tapping one of those 8 icons that pop up towards the bottom third of your screen. Be prepared though, this launcher has icons all over the desktop that try to get you to install additional apps: (translation: This app is ridden with SPAM that will try to get you to install other apps)
  • Go SMS Pro
  • Onavo Count
  • DU Battery Saver
  • DU Speed Booster
  • Fast Browser
  • 3D launcher
  • Lock screen
  • Little empire
  • Spartan war
  • 360 clean droid
~ and these are just what's on the desktop.

For advance users with root: use xposed - app settings module --> to remove any permissions you guys don't like and check "resident app" so no lags.

Also make sure you previous launcher settings aren't keeping your old launcher in memory still, which can slow you phone down.

For best experience:

System Settings - Developer Options - Check "Turn off hardware overlays"

GO Settings:
-Preferences - screens - screen transition speed = 100
-Advance Settings - Uncheck "Enable smart card"
-Icon Size - Custom = 130 (This is on 720p S3 screen)
-Font - App Name Size - Custom =15
-App Drawer - Uncheck "show top action bar"
-Gestures & Transition - App Drawer Gesture - Enable (makes it easy to make app drawer minimal)

I assume it won't. Use Titanium Backup or some other backup app to backup the prime feature.

How do I get in to the Preference, don't see it...When I installed Go Launched it automatically changed my screen view settings, not able to locate the preferences...

<Got it worked, thank you> Reppped !!

Why wouldn't it be? it'll be in your apps that you've bought/downloaded. It will always be in your play store history.

Unlocking the prime features is accomplished in-app, in other words the app is always free to download but the bonus features are separate from the Play store.

If you don't see the 'Enter Activation code' option, it's probably because you already had it installed. I had this issue. I uninstalled it (and deleted from Play Store history to be safe). Re-installed it and the option was there just as described.

It's not taking you through the Play Store to purchase Prime so I don't know if it will be in the history. I didn't see the Prime listing in my Play store after using the promo code.

Things like this are usually gone if you clean/wipe your phone. You will need to use a backup solution such as Titanium Backup or Helium to be able to retain the pro features.

I just tested it--Go Launcher stores a license file (of sorts) in the mSD/internal storage \Go Launcher. If you wipe out the file, Prime is gone. Since this is not a PlayStore purchase, I would guess that the license is bound to the device ID.

I too had trouble finding preferences and eventually found it. There is a little popup menu on the home screen that contains the icon for preferences.

Icon buttons at the bottom of my screen (motox).
Back, Home, MultiTask, Popup Menu

I've been confused for a while for this kinda of app deals. They asked you to input some code to "activate" the full feature instead of lowering the full version price to zero. What if later on I reinstalled my OS and need to reinstall this app, do I lose the "prime" feature? Is there a way to back it up?

Works great. Instructions were simple enough.

Let me try out this 'rep' thing. I think it is well deserved.
