FYI, this model (10107) is no longer on the CA roster aka legalized extortion list. It's buyer's responsibility to check.

I'm glad we're thinking of the children when we ban these assault .22lr pistols.

This is true. The only 22/45 left on the CA DOJ list is 10158: LINK [ruger.com] and thats only until the 26th of this month.

I believe this is typically the least expensive of the Ruger MKIII lineup, but it still a fantastic pistol. If you can find a dealer to process this for you cheaply, it is a really great deal. I would jump on it if I had not just bought a Ruger SR22 a couple months ago. Now if I could only find some more ammo.....

this is an awesome pistol, but its predecessor the MKII was leaps and bounds better imho...but also double the price.

my favorite flavor of this series is the YHM integrally suppressed mark III [medicfirearms.com] coupled with subsonic ammo. if your range is a "1 shot per 1 second" kind of range, they will never hear you pew pewing it up at the speed of light. it's just tremendous fun, and one of the only suppressed guns that actually sounds like a "silenced" weapon from movies.

I guess you're speaking of GrabaGun since PSA is in my old stompin grounds about 1200 miles to the east!laugh out loud Pesky sales tax on the local purchase, however. YMMV on sales tax through your FFL on one shipped in.(from what I've read...never actually had a firearm shipped to a local FFL).

I shot 200 rounds of 22lr and 50 rounds of .380 last night...the total cost of the 22lr was HALF of the cost of the .390 EEK!

I'm pretty sure that PSA link is new. Smilie

I have no problem paying local sales tax. $10 transfer fee from FFL and shipping would be about the same, and I get to hold it faster. In addition, the more people avoid local sales taxes, the more governments look for other ways to get money. For that last reason alone, I would prefer to buy local if the price is close enough.

You can reload 380 for dirt cheap. It only takes about 3 grains of powder and plated bullets are about $35-40/500

Thanks...I can string a tennis racket blindfolded; but I don't think I'll try reloading in this lifetime. I'll pony up the high prices and hope they drop a bit when folks find out how snappy those mouse guns areWink
