Does anyone know if this rebate works on a factory DEMO scope?

That is far from the point I was trying to make. I actually stated, I do NOT own a high end optic, I said I own mid-range optics. My point was that optics are normally the MOST expensive part of your system. I paid, what I think is a lot of money for an optic, but many people pay much, much more. When it comes to optics especially, that's not an area most shooters cheap out on. You get what you pay for....

but I guess you missed the point by being too busy being an internet tough guy instead of having something relevant to post.
Internet tough guy?! You're funny... and very sensitive. You're probably the guy who wears a .45 to a family reunion at your grandma's house. I got your point(s) Mr. Sensitive and actually agree with most of what you said.

Probably depends on how it is annotated on the receipt. If it says "Demo" right on it, you may have trouble with the rebate. I've never tried a Simmons rebate before, so you may want to try googling and see what experiences others have had with their rebates.

You have 3 posts, with nothing of value, tough guy... go back to your daily life of getting beat up and taking out your aggressions on the internet where you're safe.

I just wanted to say you and JeremyJ6092 have made me chuckle a few times today. I'm not picking sides or anything like that, but I busted a gut when I read his response about you wearing your .45 to your family reunion at your grandmothers house. You guys need to get together and have a beer.

I've seen some bad reviews on this scope. The reviews I'm concerned with are those saying it flat out broke - even on a crossbow? Simmons must have gone down hill, because I have a 20+ yr old 3-9x40 that has been on several of my rifles, and still produces great results. I ordered this, but now I'm thinking about cancelling, even though it's super cheap after the rebate.

Wow, nice scope! Just mounted, not yet dialed, but much clearer than the BSA scope I returned. Think I'm gonna like it!

Thanks again OP, would rep you again if I could!!

Also got a one piece dovetail mount from Amazon for $18 that locks on great!
