IMHO, Old stock (it's a closeout) of non-LSD 2450 mAH NiMH is not a good deal at any price.
Unless you use them on a continual basis in devices where they get recharged frequently (every 2-4 weeks at a minimum), expect them to go bad within a year. Non LSD NiMH will permanently degrade if left to self discharge. And no, using them in a mouse and topping them off frequently doesn't help. They have to be regularly cycled through a discharge to below 50% to have a chance of lasting.
Yes, If you have a charger with a refresh cycle, they will seem to recover at first but let them sit a week and then test the capacity or check how them hold up under moderate to high loads.
I'm a bit of a battery geek and have spent a LOT of time on this stuff in the past running tests on chargers and batteries. You can search this forums on my member id and NiMH to see some long posts I've written. I also spent a lot of time on candlepowerforums in the past posting on NiMH topics.
IMHO, the vast majority of users, should avoid non-LSD NiMH at all costs and stick with any decent LSD NiMH instead.
Sound advice. Skip these batteries and get LSD NiMH instead
