Very likely YMMV, but local Orlando Targets are clearing out their "seasonal" grills....

Most of the grills were either not marked as clearance yet or didn't reflect the appropriate level of clearance.

For example:

Weber Spirit E-210, DPCI 009-07-0273, orig $399.99, clearance sticker showed $279.98, but after not ringing up in the self-checker, I brought the DPCI to customer service and they confirmed 50% off ($200). 2 boxes + 1 display available

Char-Broil 4 Burner Gas Grill, DPCI 009-07-0447, orig $199.99, also 50% off, now $100.

Char-Broil 5 Burner Gas Grill, DPCI 009-07-0448, orig $299.99, 50% now, $150.

Char-Broil Magnum Infrared Gas Grill, DPCI 009-07-0255, orig $269.99, 50% now, $135.

They also had various charcoal models on clearance. The season items had product price/model placard cards ending 05/31, so most of the barcodes weren't registering in the system which made me go to Customer Service to verify price.

YMMV... happy hunting.

Isn't the "Weber Genesis E-210, DPCI 009-07-0273, orig $399.99" a little high?

OP,

I dont think there is such a thing as a Weber Genesis E-210. The DCPI number takes you to the Weber Spirit E-210.

The ones at Home Depot are being cleared out because they have begun selling their own exclusive models of Weber grills. So they're clearing the old stuff to make room for the new stuff.

The Weber e-210 you are talking about at HD is ~$100, the Weber e-210 at Target is on sale at some Targets for ~$200, the difference is ~$100.

So, the difference between the two grills is about one-hundred dollars and the serial number.

Home Depot has a new 'exclusive' model from my understanding, so the old model, the one everyone else carries, is $100 at HD.

Still a great deal for a weber grill if it's nationwide

OK thanks. I really was interested in the quality of one versus the other.

I am not good at explaining this, they are the same. HD went to a exclusive design and the old standard design is $100, Target is starting to mre down grills, so target has the same ones for $200... HD $100, Target $200 (if 50% off) for the same grill.

I don't think I've ever seen a weber gas grill at a Target. But I'll keep a look out for it. Thanks.

Anyone else think Target's clearance strategy is strange. Isn't this the high season for grills? I wouldn't think these would be on clearance until at least Sept. Maybe Nov here in FL Smilie

The standard one is way better. You will hate having to take on and off the door for the Home Depot exclusive one when you turn on / off the propane tank (every time you use it) and also when you clean the tray.

The accessories for the Home Depot BBQ system is overpriced as well. You can get the same functionality buying different accessories.
