This is something of a repost since this deal was available at Frys.com for a couple of days at the end of last month. It's back again, but it may not last long because I doubt they have many of the TV's left -

Frys.com [frys.com]

You will see $3299 when you click the link, but when you add it to your cart and sign in, the price drops to $1499 with free shipping.

I used this price at Frys.com to get a price match at Best Buy last month. With Discover cashback and the Reward Zone points, I actually did a little better at Best Buy, despite the sales tax. However, I don't think Best Buy has many of these TV's left (they are sold out in my area).

Update: People are reporting that the Sony store is matching Frys' price with free shipping (look at post #149 of this thread and subsequent posts). If you don't have a Frys near you to do an in store pickup, this is your best option.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If I get best buy to pricematch this can I still use a 10% off movers coupon? Did you pricematch online or in a store?

At Best Buy, how do you get rewards and discover? don't you have to use the Discover card to get Discover CB and BB card for rewards?

If you have a Best Buy nearby that has this TV in stock, you may be able to get them to price match Fry's. I live in Virginia and the nearest Fry's is in Georgia. However, the local Best Buy stores have routinely price matched Fry's online and in store prices. Apparently Fry's is on the list of retailers that Best Buy price matches.

I purchased my TV on BestBuy.com with in store pickup. The price was $1800 at the time and I linked through ShopDiscover to get 5% cashback. When I got to the store, they price matched Fry's and refunded $300 back to my Discover card. They also gave me free delivery to my house since the price of the TV was over $300. The TV cost $1500 plus tax, but I received $90 from my Discover cashback and $50 for Best Buy Reward Zone (it's a membership card, not a credit card). Thus, my total price was $1450 all in.

I picked one up yesterday from Fry's before OP posted deal. I was looking for a TV and this came on sale the day I was there.
For a 65" and picture quality it offers, this LED TV deal cannot be beat. I was searching high and low for the past week for a TV and was stuck on getting the Samsung 60h7150, right before this Sony came barreling through on sale, and it was a no brainer. Just check out the reviews on Amazon and also over on avs forum. High ratings for it's picture quality all around.
From what I've read, this is last year's model and I'm sure Fry's is clearing it out to make room for the newer ones, but the guts and features of this one are better than the new model that replaced it....so get it before it's gone for good.

eta: trunksu, no doubt or regrets with my purchase..I jumped in as soon as I saw the price and never even flinched or hesitated between it or the Samsung. I thought I was sold on the Samsung for it's features and price I was willing to pay, but this Sony at this price is a steal.
