I only play iOS games now. So I'm waiting for sequels to Badland and The Room 1 & 2. (These come highly recommended by the way, if you're looking for something to play on your phone or tablet).
On a wider scale, I've been fantasizing about Apple making a deal with Nintendo to make iOS versions of classics like Zelda, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong, or even Nintendo 64 games like Mario 64 (if it's possible to put a game that big on a mobile device or iPad). I think it is possible, since they made an iOS version of Tomb Raider (which had the worst controls ever).
You actually get to express "Fight or Flight" instincts instead of only running away; popularized by Amnesia, which has plagued the majority of horror games since its release.
It is tough to find a good balance in a horror game. You are either overpowered to the point you never need to run or you have 0 weapons and must always run. I can't think of a single horror game where you were expected to be able to fight and run. Some let you sneak through areas to avoid fights, but never escape.
