is the glare bad on these? it and the tv logo burn in are the only things keeping me from buying it.
I own the 50" version...a large window is placed diagonally from it...I play Titanfall on it everyday with no issues. no burn in...but I also don't leave it on static images. im not a network tv viewer either, so I cant comment on "tv logo burn in." But i can speak from personal knowledge and say that i would advise to never leave ANY plasma on a static image for hours on end.
i just got one. I got tired of trying to figure out how to price match the Microcenter one for $599. This is an upgraded model (wifi built in) - all else is exactly the same as the PB6600. So with no tax and wifi built in.. it's worth the extra $50 i guess...
the Netflix 12 month is a gimmick that some people are getting by mistake...and u can do the same trick with this tv... the other tv comes with a dongle that some people can't get to work unless they hang it under the tv which looks silly if on a wall... and u have to go pick it up and hope u have a truck or van and then finally - pay taxes.
So like i said before - to have wifi built in, pay no taxes if you're out of Fry's footprint, and get free delivery of an 80lb tv.. it's worth the extra $50 or less if you factor in free shipping and no gas used.
picture is great...turns on in seconds ( had a vizio from the walmart lottery that took 28 agonizing seconds) the android app eorks well and no issues with wifi dongle. ..ive got 2 other leds and replaced an older pani plasma with this and love it...glare is most noticeable when it's turned off or when watching really dark movies...aside from that it's never been a real issue.
