Can be used with $15 off $150 AmEx Sync offer to bring it down to $334.99 AR shipped.
Or using promo code for MASTERPASS23 at checkout = $329.99 AR shipped.

I also used 2% cashback from TCB for returning Newegg.com customers (-$8) to bring it down further to a total of $318.99 SHIPPED

Personally ill probably sell the drive docking station as I don't need. I figure I can get at least $20 for that to make the final cost for me at $298.99 or less shipped.

It was $285 before Tax at CDW. My order was cancelled then. Think it came up to around $320 total for me.

EDIT: I pulled the trigger. In for one.

My TigerDirect order came out to $302... If it ever ships that is. I'm contemplating canceling the order and ordering this one instead.

CDW (well he said he was from CDW) did call me earlier this week. The caller said that they could honor the price if I could wait 3 weeks for shipping. I was willing but he wanted CC info over the phone saying that I couldn't do the transaction through the website...........I hung up. Definitely worth the extra $30 for me at this price.

I feel you dude,

My order from Tiger hasnt shipped yet either. its been a WEEK.
I called today and raised hell only to find out that its a third party they were selling thru and the units wont be available to ship until July 6th.
I got my shipping refunded and brought my total down to 279.99.
just figured youd like the info on ship date, and info about return shipping cost.
Afterall they did guarantee 2-6 days shipping Total.

Otherwise this is still a great deal especially with he added gift which you can keep or Hawk, Plus Newegg is SUPER fast on shipping and getting orders processed.

Happy shopping people,

Cc

It certainly depends on what you intend to do. This may help with giving someone a rough price / performance comparison.

Interesing. Faster and uses a lot more power. I'd be using it for ESXi, so the extra two physical cores could make a big difference.

I don't really want to spend more though. Smilie

Damn. I had one in my cart when it sold out on tiger. I guess its a good thing now, since once it was gone I didn't give it another thought.

Its the same lot that went from cdw to tigerdirect to newegg.. i think the world has stooped that low some one needs to either keep his job at lenovo or want's to oust his superior. dont cancel and frigging we can spend 50 more and build a 4770k here at SD. dont pay a penny more. its only sweet at $279 shipped or less now,

no its not. Its just the hype we create here at SD which is misleading. for 350 you are too close to building a real rig. but at 279.99 no catch no MIR nothing to sell on ebay just cash out, this is a sweet deal if it ever delivers.. Keep following in perspective, to do anything esxi upgrade to a minimum 8 gb more costs 90 bucks. + a decent ssd around $100. and for desktop add 150 more for keyboard mouse and monitor, with 279.99 at base that equals $470 for esxi server OR $620 for desktop utilization.
