Now $45 lower than originally posted!

Here is a great Windows 7 configuration from a major manufacturer/retailer. If you add $150 in options, you can save $75 with coupon code JULY75. Additionally, you may be able to get a $75 off $350 HP purchased through your American Express card (YMMV, check your AmEx account).

I thank megastar, MacWombat and dathong01 from the previous threads for the price drop and coupons info.

If you can purchase HP GC (online), best value would be buy a $350 GC (get $75 on top of that). Then charge the rest (> $350) on another AMEX account. Potentially, you are getting back $150.

This is an incredible deal if you have AMEX. Anyone looking to build a somewhat High-end gaming PC, this is a great base. Just upgrade the PSU and GFX card.

Per HP website, the included PSU is only 300 watts. Any type of gaming is going to need a new power supply and video card.

no shot.

Best you could do is a Nvidia gtx 750 ti. And that's because that card sips power.

I've bought two HP laptops, yes the price is good but both are complete pieces of chinese garbage...save your money and get a low end macbook, it'll last 10X longer.

FTFY: it'll last 10x longer because you'll use it 10x less.

By God, my electronics are made by hand in AMERICA! And then only with locally sourced, free-range components.

To buy anything less is to hate America!
