I work for T-Mobile and one of my district managers informed me about this deal and it works. You don't have to be a T-Mobile employee, just as long as you have the new updated ISIS SIM card in used and downloaded the ISIS wallet app and then sign up for the American Express Serve card and link it to your ISIS app. Takes 2 minutes to do it and you get $50 credit after 5-10 minutes. Absolutely free, can cancel any time. No fees. Smilie

To get a free ISIS SIM card, you can go to your nearest T-Mobile store and request for one. Depends on the store if they charge you $10 or not, my store doesn't but, the sales rep (works on comission) will try to sell you something. If you want one for FREE for sure, just call into T-Mobile customer care (611 on your T-Mobile handset) and talk to customer care and request a free ISIS SIM card. Make sure they write it down on the MEMO so you can get one free in store.

P.S. My Note 3 screen shot. Smilie
I can take step by step screen shots when I get home, it's really simple. I'm just at work right now. Haha. Check out the attachment to see what an ISIS sim card looks like.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yes, ISIS will be changing their name to avoid confusion with the Islamic group:
ISIS service to change their name

You MUST have active service to do this deal and use ISIS. You cannot activate service, sign up for ISIS, then cancel and keep getting the $1 back. It will NOT work without a phone number and active service assigned to the SIM card.

***If all you're interested in are the Serve benefits (increased $1500 credit card load) this WILL WORK even after you cancel ISIS. As soon as you cancel your T-Mobile service, ISIS will be instantly deactivated but the increased load limits in Serve will remain (your Serve account will still be branded "with ISIS"). The limits will be raised as soon as you activate your serve card, although they will not be reflected anywhere on the site - it will still mention the 200/day and 1000/mo limits, but you will be able to submit 500/day and 1500/mo. You will also keep the $50 signup bonus (source: tried this; became a T-Mobile customer for 26 hours).

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PHONE ON THIS LIST, YOU CANNOT DO THE DEAL - http://www.t-mobile.com/landing/i...hones.html
That's only the list of ISIS phones available from TMobile. Check the Isis site [paywithisis.com] for all phones what work with Isis (and TMobile too). Other phones not listed on TMobile site include Galaxy S II, and III, LG G flex, G2, and F6, HTC One (M7), and others. Not sure which work on TMobile too other than the LG F6 at least.
Search SlickDeals for ISIS, this has been going on, in various forms, for over a year now. Not really sure how this thread has escaped being merged with one of the previous ones.

I've added the steps in order to add the American Express Serve Card. After step 3, just sign up with your information and then verify your e-mail address. That's it, let it sit for 5-20 minutes. I got my credit within 10 minutes of verifying my e-mail address. I didn't have to do anything after verifying my e-mail address other than wait.

If you already have Serve and want the $50 here's how to get it
  1. Call Serve and cancel your serve account (you can also do it online)
  2. Wait an hour or two, get the e-mail confirmation your account is closed
  3. Sign up again through the ISIS app

Ta-da, you have $50.

This is of course YMMV - I got it to work because I had a Serve signed up but never completed the signup process (They wanted an identity verification) and after I verified they told me you need to sign up through the ISIS account to get the credit.

07/28: $50 credit offer for signup expires 07/31. This offer was shown right after registering isis account.
07/31: $50 credit offer extended thru 08/31. Credit will NOT apply to any person who cancelled account recently.

08/01: I had a regular Serve account, closed it Aug 1 in the morning and opened ISIS the same day in the evening. Used new email address, all the rest info was the same. Got $50 bonus sign up. Credit offer is extended till August 31.

08/12 Had a regular Serve, closed in the morning, opened up an ISIS w/ a new email address (same info and SSN) that afternoon. Received the $50 within five minutes of email verification. YMMV, but offer looks very much alive, even for repeat customers.

I wonder if TMo is having second thoughts about naming it ISIS. :-) Some people are going to think it's associated with ISIS - the Islamic States of Iraq & Syria.

Isis works in partnership with T-Mobile to provide Enhanced SIM cards free of charge. You can also visit a T-Mobile retail store to get an Enhanced SIM card for your compatible phone.

Long before the acronym, she was, of course, the Egyptian goddess.
